If you’re a fan of the stage you’ve probably heard of Bernadette Peters. Even if you’re not a fan of musicals you’ve probably seen her. This curly-haired woman may be petite but her voice is mega-sized! Her vocals and personality can adapt to so many scenarios, it’s no wonder she holds the title of being the youngest performer to be inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame. She’s performed in such theatricals as Into the Woods, Gypsy,” and Sunday in the Park with George. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard her duet with “Dukes of Hazzard” star Tom Wopat, singing “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better,” from the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun. And who can forget her lively bantering with Steve Martin in the hilarious film “The Jerk”? If you still can’t place her face, think back to the early 80’s when she starred in cahoots with Miss Hannigan as Rooster’s girlfriend, Lily, in the film “Annie.” A word of practical advice from Berndette: “You've gotta be original, because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for?”

He’s doing what no one thought possible—bridging the gap between pop and classical music, providing listeners with a path to enjoy new sounds. It doesn’t hurt that he’s not bad to look at! He’s got a voice that makes our hearts melt. His smile makes us swoon. His eyes look as though they’re staring into the depths of your soul. He sings opera…so how did this young baritone opera star get so popular with the mainstream? After standing in for Andrea Bocelli at the 1998 Grammys for a duet with Celine Dion, David E. Kelley just HAD to have him sing on the popular television series “Ally McBeal.” Since then he’s converted thousands of loyal fans (from teeny-boppers to soccer moms) affectionately known as “Grobanites.” With two albums that have sold millions, and songs featured on various compilations, hopefully Josh’s journey has only just begun!

Her music style has been compared to that of Billie Holiday, with smooth, soulful vocals bordering between hip hop, R&B, and jazz. She’s been named as one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People,” and ranked in VH1’s 100 Greatest Women of Rock ‘n Roll. (Perhaps VH1 needs to change that title to “100 Greatest Women in Music”?) Easily recognized by her extravagant African head wraps, she’s a little bit outspoken, but always classy. She was born “Erica Wright,” but chose to discard her “slave” name, and thus became Erykah Badu; her children have not fared as well. With names like “Seven” and “Puma,” she seems to be going the celebrity route when it comes to choosing baby names. With experience in theatre, film, and music, Erykah is a talented artist with a bright future in the performing arts.

This goddess (the name “Tea” literally means “goddess”) has some insight into the infamous X-Files—she’s married to David Duchovny, aka Mulder, from the popular sci-fi series. So where does she get her goddess-like looks? Her family ancestry includes some Italian, Polish, and English, and it all melds together to create this beautiful and talented actress. (She’s also been known to sport some super-cute hairstyles—check out her ‘do in “The Family Man.”) Her career got off to a bumpy start when she was cast in a never-aired television series sequel to “Charlie’s Angels.” She soon got cast in the soap opera “Santa Barbara,” and went on to star in films such as “Bad Boys,” “Deep Impact.” She fought dinosaurs in “Jurassic Park 3,” and spoke Italian fluently off-set while filming “Spanglish.” Most recently she could be seen in “Fun with Dick & Jane,” a remake of the 1977 version, starring in the role that Jane Fonda originated. Tea looks to have a promising career which has only just begun.

He threw the baby out with the bath water—well, his character in the hit film “Titanic” attempted to do so, to the chagrin of many viewers. Don’t hate him, though—it just shows how talented of an actor he is! He’s been seen in dozens of films, and his first big break on-screen was as Biff’s friend Match in the first two “Back to the Future” films. He’s portrayed the superhero “The Phantom,” as well as “Cleopatra’s” “Marc Antony” in the made-for-television epic. Fans of the spellbinding “Charmed” may recognize him as “Drake,” the poetry-loving former demon. He almost had the lead role in “Dirty Dancing,” but was replaced when it was discovered that he couldn’t dance. Well, apparently something’s changed since then because he recently could be seen dancing AND singing as lawyer “Billy Flynn” in Broadway’s Chicago! A man who wears his balding well, it doesn’t stop the ladies from swooning. Whether he’s donning a wig or shaving his head, he’s got it going on.

Voted by Stuff Magazine as one of “102 Sexiest Women in the World,” this “Sex and the City” star has finally gotten some respect. After her yearlong portrayal of the oh-so-hateable “Brooke” on “Melrose Place” she grew weary of the hostile glances that she was on the receiving end of. After some guest appearances on “Seinfeld” and “Friends,” she finally got the role of a lifetime. Her portrayal of “Charlotte York,” one of the four lead actresses on “Sex and the City,” garnered her adoration instead of detestation. She became an icon that many women can identify with. “Charlotte” is the idealistic and somewhat conservative personality, wanting security in a relationship, preferring emotional love to one-night stands, always in search of her knight in shining armor. Her character shows us that it’s normal to want the best. Like her character on “SATC” Kristin is a cultured woman, and is starring in the London premiere of The Exonerated, an America Death Row drama.

She comes from a long line of respectable actors, including John, Lionel, and Ethel Barrymore. With that kind of heritage a girl’s bound to feel some pressure. After all, the whole world had its eye on her when she starred in "E.T." She was merely 7 years old when she hosted "Saturday Night Live"! A true "fire starter," her troubled childhood included drinking and drug usage between the ages of 9 and 12. As she matured, her personality and career took off, and she has proven herself a respectable and talented actress. Her sincere smile and cheerful voice has endeared her to millions of adoring fans, including the filmmaker behind the film “My Date with Drew Barrymore,” in which a young man infatuated with Drew puts a quote of hers into action: "If you don't take risks, you'll have a wasted soul." From her induction as one of "Charlie’s Angels," to her modeling contracts with Lancome cosmetics and Missoni (an Italian fashion company), we love Drew Barrymore and more.

What is it about this man? Could it be his expressive puppy dog eyes? He is well-known for his role as crime scene investigator Gil Grissom on television’s “CSI,” but he has been playing various eclectic roles for many years. His first major film role (“To Live and Die in LA”) resulted in him being discovered after starring onstage in A Streetcar Named Desire. He starred as the FBI agent who caught Hannibal Lector in the prequel to “Silence of the Lambs,” entitled “Manhunter” (later remade as “Red Dragon”). His charming personality and handsome looks even afforded him two roles as a Kennedy; he portrayed John F. Kennedy in “The Rat Pack,” (1998) and Joseph P. Kennedy in “The Kennedys of Massachusetts” television miniseries (1990). His true love lies in theatre (he even started a Shakespeare company early in his career!), and throughout his acting career he has chosen artistry over commercialism time and time again, even turning down a role in Oliver Stone’s “Platoon.” Nicknamed “Billy,” his adoring fans loved him long before he became familiar to millions with his role on “CSI.”

One of the five original super models, she’s an example of true beauty and intelligence in a time when air-headedness seems to be taking hold of the young and beautiful. Cindy Crawford was the valedictorian of her graduating high school class, and had a scholarship for chemical engineering, though she didn’t complete her college education. Still, she insists that she’s a student of life. She’s been voted among the most beautiful people in the world by numerous publications, including People, Shape, and Playboy. She’s made an impact in more ways than just modeling; she’s an avid supporter of many important causes, and hasn’t forgotten her life before fame. He bears a slight resemblance to Brad Pitt, a dark and mysterious (and sometimes mumbling) version of Brad. For a guy who got his start in film in “Big Top Pee Wee,” he’s come a long way. Now he’s winning Academy Awards—well he’s got one under his belt (Best Supporting Actor for his performance in “Traffic”); doubt it will be his last. “Del Toro” may translate to “The Bull,” but he’s not full of it. He’s not afraid to give his all in the filming process—for his role in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” he gained 40 pounds, and gave himself repeated cigarette burns for the elevator scene (the burns were cut from the scene, but you can probably catch them on the DVD)! He’s making waves with audiences, and his next role is to portray the Argentinean revolutionary Che Guevara.
