One of the original members of Destiny’s Child, LeToya Luckett has been singing since she was a wee little thing, and like many performers, her singing career started in the church. She met former band mate Beyonce Knowles in elementary school; however, an ugly split within Destiny’s Child shattered this childhood friendship. “For love or money”—isn’t that how the saying goes? How many of us used to squeal when we heard the lyrics “It’s all right ‘cause I’m saved by the bell,” and got dreamy-eyed when prankster “Zack Morris” got into his regular antics? Who would have thought that this same mischievous wild child (at least he played one on television) would grow up to play a cop on police drama “N.Y.P.D. Blue”?
